NORWEGIAN STYLE HERRING (“ŚLEDZIE PO NORWESKU”) WITH BROCCOLI AND BLUE CHEESE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:
  • 250 g tray Norwegian style herring (“Śledzie po norwesku”)
  • 300 g fresh or frozen broccoli
  • 300 ml cream 30%
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • 100 mg blue cheese d’ or blue
  • salt, pepper
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Pour the cream into a bowl, add the pieces of blue cheese and nutmeg, season them with salt and pepper.
2. Cook broccoli in salted water, strain and put onto a serving dish and top with the hot sauce. Add the herring.
